FFANZ
Fan Fund of Australia and New Zealand
History
Historical Info provided by Marc Ortlieb
Founded largely by John Newman in 1983, in an attempt to bring Australian and New Zealand
fandoms closer together. The first race was administered by John and Frank MacSkasy Jnr. The first
winner, Tom Cardy, travelled to Syncon `83.
The current FFANZ administrators are David Cake (Australia - elected 2007) and Barbara and
Peter Clendon (New Zealand - 2006 - see the announcement).
